A good base for exploring Tipperary county, close to Limerick town and down into Cork. Managed to do day trips easily. Very close to services. Managed a good mix of eating out and home cooked meals. Kitchen had all that we needed. Beds comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleepsleep. Really didn't miss the television, very good internet.

We enjoyed our stay at Gloria's in Tipperary. PROs: - Easy and free parking in front of the house. - Large, well equipped kitchen. - Walking distance to pubs, restaurants, etc. CONs: - The shower is a little concerning. Almost every day the shower (which produces hot water via an electrical apparatus) would trip the circuit. This would not be considered normal, and should be investigated by an electrician for safety reasons. Hopefully Gloria can arrange for this? - The windows are quite old on the front of the house, which is only mentionable because the house is located on a main highway. Road noise was very noticeable in the front bedroom. - The details provided for local pubs and restaurants was clearly quite dated (some had changed their names, some had changed their live music availability, etc.). It would be great if this could be updated. Overall, we were reasonably satisfied with our stay, but would likely choose a different location on our return visit.

Wow what a wonderful home to stay at. Perfect for what we needed. A very responsive host with a strong backup network to assist us if needed. Having lived in the area for many many years in the past, I must have driven past this home thousands of times and never imagine how wonderful it could have been to stay at, well now we know. Thank you so much Gloria, we will always request to stay at your home again in the future and we will of course pass on recommendations to friends and family here in the UK to do the same. Convenient location for town, shops and local amenities, all within walking distance. Car parking in front of house. Everything we needed for a short stay as a base. Gloria was able to be flexible with our check in which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. Happy to recommend it for other travellers. Good value for the money. The absence of any TV's was strange, we did miss being able to put the news on and relax and catch up on the world.
