Choosing TinHat Hotel over many other accommodations was one of the best decisions I made lately. The reviews I had read prior to booking were honest and helpful, and I’d like to also share my positive experience. I came to Davao for the first time and as a solo traveler. TinHat is strategically located within downtown and has quick and easy access to public transpo bound to anywhere outside the city. There’s 7/11 a few meters away where you can get stuff you forgot to bring, and there’s TinHat restaurant that cooks food as you order. I was also lucky to be in one of the rooms on their uppermost floor which gave a good view of the night sky. All those I had spoken to were courteous and they spoke softly even as they talk among themselves. :) I think all rooms were occupied but, amazingly, I could not hear any noise from other guests nor anything that would have disrupted my sleep. The room was sparkling clean with neither a roach nor an eerie feeling in it. They have a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and you won’t feel scared to roam around at night because there are no stray dogs. Needless to say, there are no bad guys and every Davaoeño you will talk to will always feel glad to help you (at least as far as my experience is concerned). I will write about this trip and make sure to mention all the positive feelings I had towards everything. Thanks, TinHat for my wonderful stay! I’m coming back next year! :)
