We absolutely loved this rental. The property and house had endless fun, even when the weather was bad. The hosts have guests in mind with spare items, tons of games, a welcome gift, books, etc. The stairs are unusually steep and asymmetrical but it was just a fun quirk that was fine for our 4 year old. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. When the primary internet went out, the back-up kicked in which was great bc we did not have cell service. Theres lots of hot water, multiple fireplace heaters, and great climate control. We loved playing hide and seek inside and out, making a fire and smores, climbing the rocks, following the creek, ping pong and fooz ball, reading, and cooking. Exploring the property was tons of fun - it’s very steep but beautiful and interesting. We recommend the Virginia Creeper Trail and Grayson Highlands hiking- so fun. We’ll be back if we can!

This beautiful cabin was probably the best rental we've ever stayed at, from the absolute best communications hands down to the serenity and peace in this cabin and the gorgeous surroundings, we couldn't have asked for more! If you are looking for somewhere to get away, this is definitely the spot!! Our family enjoyed the large open kitchen/ family space so much, everything is there in the home too that you could possibly need. We had the best time too sitting by the fire pit, wood is provided, loved the sweet coy pond and the added touch of a tree swing. Everything was just perfect and we would love to stay here again most definitely! Thanks guys,yall were the best!!

Such a beautiful mountain retreat for seeing the fall leaves! The property is truly postcard worthy. If you are looking to stay with young kids, be aware that the staircase to the second floor is more like an attic ladder, and you will need to watch your little ones very closely when going up and down. It is worth the extra caution, though :-)

The cabin was awesome for a large family. My favorite thing was the kitchen has pretty much everything to make meals and the gas grill outside was a big plus. The place was clean and totally loved all the activity games like the ping pong table and fusball table. Would go back for sure!

What a wonderful getaway. This was our second year staying here in the fall. There was an issue at check-in this time but it was resolved SO quickly and responsibly. They are great hosts and this house is a true gem. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay while exploring Grayson Highlands or just a retreat in the mountains, this is the place! The kitchen is big. The firepit area was stocked with kindling and firewood. The landscaping, streams and ponds are so nice. The enormous property made for some amazing games of kick-the-can. Real high speed internet (if you need it). We love it here and we’ll definitely be back.
