The location was great. Easy and short access to the beach. The house was very nicely decorated and was stocked with plenty of supplies, spices, utensils, etc. Beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive. Joanne is a star!
Joanne's place is beautiful. It is right on the beach with private bridge over the dunes to the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked. Kitchen is open to the living room, so whoever is cooking can be part of the conversation. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Joanne was our host and she was proactive our entire stay. She responded to my messages within 15 minites. Great hostess. We will be renting this place again if available. Thanks, Bryson
We selected this house for a cousins' reunion (in our 50s-60s) for two nights. The house itself is outstanding! It literally had everything we needed and more in terms of furniture, appliances, bedding, blankets, towels, supplies, etc. The interior is beautiful and current. And the entire back of the house looks out on the beach and Gulf. The kitchen area was spacious and very functional. The main floor balcony was a perfect spot to hang out, look out and veg out. I want to go back right now. The outdoor area on the first floor was also great for hanging out with a variety of Adirondack chairs and tables. We spent time out on the beach and the canopy tent in the garage worked perfectly! The grill produced some amazing vegetables and steaks as well. My Texas cousins who were part of our group and who have been a part of other beach rentals in the area said it was tops. WE LOVED IT!!! Thank you Joanne!
A beautiful home right on the beach. All bedrooms were spacious. Ample outdoor seating areas. Would book again.
We had a wonderful weekend at this home! Joanne was a great host, she was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and extremely well stocked from everything you need in the kitchen to hairdryers in the bathrooms. The king beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of air mattresses available. The beach is steps away and was not crowded during our stay. There are two small grocery stores nearby if you forget something but recommend shopping before you get to the area due to cost. We highly recommend if you are looking to stay in Galveston.
