We had a great stay here. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The house was clean and provided enough space for all of us. We will definitely book again.

Low tide was a perfect stay for us! All the amenities we would need were provided. About a half mile walk to the beach down a pretty busy road. This was not a problem for us, but could be difficult with small kids and all the beach equipment. That being said, the house/driveway is on a busy road. If you’re a light sleeper that is not used to road noise, earplugs may benefit you. I really appreciated the guide in a PDF before the trip and a binder of everything provided at the house. It helped us plan out our days! I would fully recommend this house to anyone looking to spend some time in Virginia Beach! Unrelated to the house, but worth mentioning for others planning trips to VB: We noticed “Freebees” around VB. Had to look it up, but it’s free ride around town. We did not use it, but seems like a great option for those not wanting to fight parking on crowded streets, especially during peak season. Or if you have been out and need a ride back to your place. Cathleen and Chris were excellent hosts. They were very responsive and accommodating. We had booked a place in Norfolk that turned out not meeting our standards and expectations. It was a blessing in disguise that we ended up finding a real gem. The home was tastefully decorated with personal touches that made us feel right at home, especially the Christmas decorations and a bottle of Prosecco. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Our kids enjoyed time at the beach, that was only a couple of blocks away. We will definitely recommend this home to family and friends.
