We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the Gumtree Cottage. It had everything you could ask for. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the thoughtful added extras are a lovely surprise! The property is in a great location, not far from town, with some beautiful wineries close by. The view from the cottage is ever so relaxing and peaceful. We loved the cows with their welcoming ‘moos’. We will be back!

Clean and comfortable, not too far from Mudgee and easy to find. Beautiful property with amazing views from every angle, and the sky looks enormous. I only wish it hadn’t been cloudy when we stayed so we could have enjoyed the stars at night. Friendly hosts, easy check in and check out, and very accommodating with our request for a baby cot which was made up with care and ready to go when we arrived. Would certainly recommend Gumtree for a short stay in Mudgee or just to get away from it all.

We had a great Easter long weekend at Peppertree in the Gumtree cottage. The cottage easily accommodated a family of 5 with 3 king single beds and a queen bed. All bedding was of a high quality and very comfortable. Ceiling fans and aircon kept us cool. We appreciated the quality local items in the mini bar and that our questions were answered very promptly. The brand new BBQ on the verandah was well used. We enjoyed the open spaces, beautiful views and sculptures, fire pit at night and swims in the dam. A very enjoyable weekend in a beautiful part of NSW. Thanks for having us Peppertree.

Truly tranquil country living. A short drive into town, and run bike riding in close proximity to wineries. We had such an amazing girls weekend and felt we could not have picked better accommodation! Enjoying a cheese board down on the jetty next to the lake was very special.
