Nice apartment in a beautiful part of Italy.

Host changed the property without any prior communication, only asked me to pick up the key at a different address, I assumed it was just a meet point for the key. I went by myself to collect the key, only then he explained there was an issue with the apartment I had reserved, it was too late for finding an alternative arrangement. Had to travel back to the train station to get the family. It was a nice comparable apartment, well equipped, but outside the historic center, 2.2km walk from the station, so we walked 20 min for each meal. Host offered a pasta dinner as an apology. (Apartment on this listing is very nicely located!!) About La Spezia: beautiful historic district, but because of the new location we needed taxi service 4 times during our stay, had issues with taxi service 3 of the 4 times. You have to call a number, they respond after a few minutes “call later, no problem”. If I come back I will stay in a hotel by the station or at the historic district to avoid these issues.

This is my third time in La Spezia and this house is the best also host too. Everything is great. Location,communication,cleaning is awesome. Thank you very much Luca. Till next time
