Our stay at the Stone House was perfect!! The location was just what we were looking for and the house was beautiful! The set up and decor had us in awe! Beautiful historic decor that didn't feel old or uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable an we felt right at home. We would recommend this house to our friends and family!

EXCELLENT location, house was larger than expected, and we truly enjoyed our stay! Few negatives: All little things, our a/c remote didn’t have batteries, there was no extra trash bags and coffee and toilet paper were limited, and the door knob on the bedroom literally fell off every time we touched it to go in and out. I did reach out and management did respond. With that being said I would still stay here again!! Parking was super EASY for us, I know some reviewers had issues with that. We also had zero noise complaints about the neighboring restaurant/bar! Location to Buffalo Trace was a big selling point to us!

We enjoyed our stay and the location to walk around downtown and visit local distilleries. Castle & Key was our favorite tour and visit!

This was our second stay. Which was as fantastic as the first stay. There are so many great rooms inside for relaxing. The kitchen is a personal favorite followed by the large table overlooking the river in the second living room space. The first time we stayed we missed the outdoor spaces. The lower level outside space is as fantastic as the inside of the home. There was a gorgeous, quiet spot with Adirondack chairs overlooking the Kentucky River. Bonus points for having full morning sun in this spot. So peaceful and a great way to start the morning! We can’t wait to stay again!

We really enjoyed our short stay here and wish we had more time. We will be returning and staying here again as it was simply a beautiful home with amazing hosts.
