Absolutely amazing home. Had everything we needed and more. Very peaceful. Enjoyed our time on the river! We will never forget our time spent here or the evening spent out in the sun room listening to the rain fall. We will most definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our New Year's Eve trip here! beautiful, quaint house in the mountains that was very clean and well decorated for the season. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. The host/company was very responsive, and I appreciated the flexibility when requesting a late checkout. The only thing to note is that while the property has Wi-Fi, the signal in the area is spotty (as expected being in the woods/mountains).

We very much enjoyed our stay at Heron's Rest! My family of 5 plus 2 grandparents were very comfortable in the spacious house. The house is across a gravel road from the Great Cacapon River which is back-dropped by the mountains. My kids and I enjoyed skipping rocks and going for short dips in the slow moving water. The house is a 15-20 minute drive from both Berkeley Springs and the Great Cacapon State Park, both must-do trips. The house is stocked with fun games and movies, and has an outdoor gas grill and two locations for campfires. There is a long staircase to climb up to get to the house, which was fine for us but should be noted for folks with mobility limitations. Overall this was a really peaceful and relaxing stay in an absolutely beautiful location.

My friends and I had a great stay at this house! We really enjoyed the river (fishing, tubing, kayaking, and rope swings). The house was supplied with everything we needed to cook all of our meals for 3 days. The neighboring houses are close proximity and within ear shot but fortunately for us, they were unoccupied during our stay. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!

Very nice and clean rental. I’d probably stay there again. The only drawback was no mobile service but once we connected to their 5G wifi it was fine. Liked the quiet area and we enjoyed our stay.
