Ginger’s place in Fairplay was perfect for the peaceful mountain retreat we were looking for. It was so clean and comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. I definitely recommend her place if you want a quiet retreat or a base camp for fun mountain adventures!
Ginger’s place was great. Loved the hot tub and privacy of the backyard (awesome for stargazing!). The house was very well stocked, bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved having cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper, etc). The house was pretty clean, (we did run the vacuum once we arrived to pick up some crumbs in various places, but other than that everything was clean)! Really loved the multiple TVs, the heated bathroom floors, and the kitchen! We saw 7 moose within 10 minutes of the house and saw tracks in the yard where a pair of moose walked through while we were out at dinner. Proximity to nature was a big motivator for our stay and it did not disappoint! Would definitely stay again!
Ginger’s place was fabulous. My family loved the hot tub and fire pit. It was a beautiful and peaceful location, and we’d recommend it to anyone!

I’m a Colorado native born and raised; currently living in Leander (Austin), TX. I am a Host because I love it! I like communicating with guests and want them to create memorable experiences. I am married and have two daughters. My family has spent many trips in beautiful places and comfortable homes. I think the ability to stay in a home and live like a local is ideal. In addition to spending time with my family, I’m a dog lover (favorite: Italian Greyhounds) and I enjoy hiking and going on new adventures.
