My friends and I had a nice getaway in the desert. It was nice to wake up and lay in the hammock or pop in the hottub before the heat set in. Check in and out were pretty simple. Mike was very helpful and responsive during our stay. I do wish the home was more secure and a bit cleaner in the bedrooms. I did enjoy the amenities and being able to cook our own meals and how close we were to Joshua Tree.

A roomy and welcoming space to call “home”. The proximity to both Joshua Tree entrances was a huge plus, as well as ease to access great restaurants and stores and the local dog park! The house is adorably decorated with tons of unique spaces to sit and connect. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard which is like a mini oasis. My teen sons loved the pool table and axe game while I preferred the hot tub and lawn chairs. after our hikes. The trails in the back were perfect for small sunrise hikes for our dog. Everything we needed was there, with lots of thoughtful extras too. Definitely a spot to create memories.

Great place. Lives up to the photos. Stayed one night with my wife and two elementary-age kids while visiting Joshua Tree. Clean, quirky decor, but also very kid-friendly with free coloring books and crayons set out, and a nerf-style axe throwing game. Just the right size for a vacation stay, and fun backyard with the hot tub and hammock. We'd stay again. My only critique is that the lack of kindling or firestarters for the outdoor stove was a bummer, but it's possible I missed them.

Such a cute place with so much character!! It felt like being transported back to the 1950s! The house was spacious, clean, and the jacuzzi was awesome for stargazing at night. Will definitely be returning sometime soon!

We visited Twentynine Palms for my best friend’s wedding. Ranch Relaxo was extremely close to the venue which made this extremely appealing. Everything about our experience with Mike and Rancho Relaxo was amazing! He was EXTREMELY responsive with any questions I had or recommendations. The home has such a cool vibe. The backyard was wonderful, especially the hot tub at night. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at Rancho Relaxo!
