We rented this house specifically for the heated pool. Sadly, we never got to use the pool. We noticed to pool was not warm on Sunday. After several texts we were told that the pool was 85 degrees, and we could just use the hot tub if the pool was not warm enough. We did not rent the house for the hot tub. We specifically rented it for the heated pool. After 4 days of texting Vacasa, their pool guy finally showed up, told us he was having issues with the heater last week. He left and we never heard from him again. We had a thermometer in the pool, and it never got over 67 degrees. Not having the pool changed the whole dynamic of our vacation, sadly. There is not much to do on this island. We rented this specific house to decompress and enjoy family time around the pool. I was refunded $1000, but our vacation was definitely affected by this. The house was nice and the set up was great! The deck was very nice too. The surrounding grass was littered with debris.

We used this unit for our company retreat. The team loved the access to both the bay and the ocean --- when our guys arent at work, they love to fish. The layout was perfect for the single guys to use the bunk house and the gents that brought their families to take a bedroom., The large kitchen and dining area allowed up to all eat together. A great time was had on Dauphin Island

Our stay was wonderful. The house had such a good feel inside and out. We traveled with six adults and 3 large breed dogs, the space was just right for all of us! We went during Thanksgiving holiday week. There is direct access to the bay side beach from the back deck. We went out every morning and walked the dogs. You have a parking pass for beach access to the Gulf side. You can walk with your dog on a leash as well on this side. This home is located more towards the end of the west end of the island. It was quiet, clean, and well kept. Of note this home comes with basic amenities, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 spare trash bag per trash can, 2 towels, wash rag, and hand towel per bath room, a small vacuum, broom & dust pan, dishes, and bedding (thin bedding of note of staying on the off season). Things to know as you will need to get supplies off the island. I would definitely rent this house again! Great first time experience on Dauphin Island.

Great location right on the beach. We went in November so it was never crowded. We were the only ones on the beach most of the time.
