Beautiful stay! Stripped right down to simple living with solar power and gas. We both started the mornings nice and toasty with a cuppa in bed looking out at the gorgeous view and the log burner on. Regardless of weather, you could appreciate the space either by having the double doors open and letting the sun shine in, or curling up with a book listening to the rain coming down with the fire going. Local pubs around for pub grub or equally Stratford and Warwick to visit. Will definitely be back again for a break from the world ❤️

Our short stay at Anneli’s place exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were met by Anneli and her husband and they were extremely friendly and welcoming, even though I was tied round a tree by a dog and it’s lead! The cabin is beautiful, immaculately clean and comfortable with all basic necessities provided. We really appreciated small gestures too, like wood for the wood burner and chocolate eggs. The welcome information was excellent and we ate at one of the places recommended and had a lovely lunch. The toilets and shower area was immaculate - I am a bit icky about toilets but the compost toilet was absolutely fine, no smell at all and very clean. You feel very off grid here, despite being near a main road, and we both felt extremely relaxed from the moment we arrived. The dogs loved it too! Thank you both - we will definitely be back.

Lovely place to stay, there is some noise from the main road, but with some nice background music (bring own speaker, charged) you soon forget it's there. We stayed in March, and it gets cold during the night/morning once the log burner has gone out so bring warm clothes. If you run out of logs, you will need to purchase more. We had a lovely cosy stay for some well needed R&R or stripped back comfort, in touch with nature xxx

what a beautiful place to stay. our long weekend was perfect. willl be going back for sure. Great hosts and amazing location
