Our stay with Madhu was amazing - the appartement is in a calm area of town and really lovely to recover after a busy Day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. Madhu was lovely and we immediately felt like family. Her family gave us great tips for things to do in Kathmandu. Our favorite part was having a coffee on the roofterrace in the afternoon! we will definitely come back!

I loved my stay here! I loved this family, they are so welcoming and warm! The apartment is spacious and it was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is amazing, you definitely get the local vibe. Recommended!

My parent stayed at Madhuji's place for 4 days and totally loved it. Rooms were very spacious with all ameneties. Host and her family were very helpfull and easy to talk to. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a cosy space away from hustle and bustle of main city. It is value for money with great hospitality.

It was the great place! I possessed the whole house's first floor for a month. There was a separate kitchen whith all necessary stuff, living room and bed room and two bathrooms with showers. I could use hostess' waching machine for free. Gas and big bottles with clear water for the boiler also were free. Payment for electricity was also included. Maybe small shortcoming - there was a little bit cool sometimes, but good bathrobe saved the situation. Wi-fi speed was more than enough for work. There're lots of small stores with all necessary groceries (you can buy eggs, meat and so on), barbershops and local bus stop nearby this place. It's quiet place with serene views and without tourists' herd. If you're like walking you can go to the Thamel district by foot for around 20 minutes. Hostess and her sons were very attentive to my requests. They even invited me at family's dinner one day. If I go to the Kathmandu again for a long time I'll definitely consider staying at this place.

I had yet another great time staying with Madhu and family. I found everything to be as described, which was perfect for me. Communication was helpful and clear beforehand, Madhu or other family members can help arrange the logistics of arrival if necessary. The apartment is clean and self contained with a chance to experience some aspects of Nepalese life for those wishing to do so and is in a great location near the hills on the edge of Ktm city and valley but easily within reach of more tourist-y areas for when needed. The air feels fresh here like mountain area which I really like, so feels like best of both worlds. It has all facilities needed a shops and cafes and the bus near by, so everything required for a short or longer term stay. Madhu and family are always happy to help with practical needs or further travel plans. Dil, Madhu's husband is well travelled mostly in Europe so understands western whims and offers assistance. I am sure I will be back! Thank you! :)
