This house has one of the most beautiful sunset as its facing west with the view of the lake and catskill mountains with no obstruction. It also has High Speed Internet to work while on vacation and good phone service in the area.
If the guests wants to rent a pontoon for a day or few hours please let the owner know he can arrange a driver to drive the pontoon to go around the lake. A pontoon for 3 to 3 and half hours would be about $325. The pickup and drop off will be on the dock of the house.
The ground floor of the house has 2 Bedrooms with queen size beds nicely decorated with a baby crib and two full bathrooms one with Jacuzzi and the other with a sauna. This floor has a lower deck with a beautiful view of the lake
- The second floor of the house has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. There is a work station- study area with a view of the lake. On the second floor there is a gourmet kitchen connected to a large and bright dinning room/ living room. From the living room there is a large deck and from there every evening you can see a magnificient sunset over the lake. A cozy wood burning fireplace is located in the living room.
-The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals for a large group with pots, pans, utensils, wine glasses. We also have a booster seat for the kids.
- The dining table can comfortably fit 8 people . 2 long benches with two chairs
The attached garage of the house has been converted to a large game room with a large bar, pool table, pinpong table, darts etc .
Property Rules:
1. No walking on the lake in the winter when it is frozen. This could be very dangerous as mishaps could happen.
2. In the summer when using the lake like jackets are required at all times and the life jackets are available in the property.
3. Guests - Booking this house is a consent and an agreement between the guest and the host that any incidents that may happen to the guests on or around the property because of their own carelessness, oversight or negligence will not be held liable against the owners. Since the owner is not on site, It is the guests own responsibility to take care of their belongings and themselves while using and staying in and around the property. Booking this house is a consent and agreement that the guests clearly understands and agrees to the liability clause stated in this paragraph.

- We are about 25 minutes to Hunter Mountain and Windham for skiing,
-If you need something quick and don’t feel like driving around, there is a gas station name STEWART about 5 minutes away. Here you can get sandwiches, pizza, coffee, eggs, bread, beer, cigarettes, Beer, Fire wood, coal etc.
Our lake chalet is located in one of the most beautiful and scenic area of the Catskills. Sleepy Hollow lake is one of the most scenic lake in Upstate. Truly a hidden gem
-15 minutes away from Catskill village with beautiful
restaurants, antiques shops, and also bigger stores like Wallmart, grocery stores, wines shops etc.
-15 minutes away from Hudson with plenty of art galleries, antiques shops, restaurants, cafes and Metro North train. The station has taxis and cabs available and it costs about $23 to get to our house from the station.
-10 minutes away from plenty of farms to do apple, strawberry, blueberry picking.
-10 minutes away from drive in movie theater, gun shooting range etc
-plenty of farms to buy organic (poultry, dairies, vegetables and meat)
- 25 minutes from outdoor architectural parks (ex Park Omi)
