Location, location, location. The Crystal City Metro station was two blocks away; Costco was approximately two and a half blocks away, Whole Foods was approximately five blocks away. Plenty of neighborhood restaurants nearby within walking distance. Reagan National airport (DCA) is only one Metro stop away. The host, Raymond, was very responsive to our need to drop off our luggages since our flight’s arrival time was prior to our check-in time. If you have any questions or concerns, Raymond will get back with you in a timely matter. The kitchen is well stocked. Refrigerator was nice and clean. There is a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker along with coffee filters and Folger’s coffee. There’s dish liquid detergent for hand washing and dishwasher detergent. There is also laundry detergent to do your laundry. All the comforts of home. Thank you, Raymond. Grandkids had a blast. We all enjoyed our stay in your lovely home.

Raymond approved our request to check in early and even granted us access to drop our bags off so we could enjoy a day in DC without them, we are immensely grateful for this accommodation. The size of the home was great, 5 bedrooms/full bath and a half bath on the main level!!! However, I was surprised at the lack of attention to detail in the home. Much of the furniture is in disrepair. Living room couch missing 2 legs, dinning room chair cushions were filthy, stain on the carpet in the basement, the bed linens were threadbare with tears. No blinds in one bathroom with shower directly across from the window, The master shower water seal around the glass shower door was no longer secured to the door. No bath mats in any of the bathrooms, very slippery floors. Kitchen with no dish towels and only one hot mat. LOTS of bulbs burnt out throughout the home. We were unaware that the garage was only available at an extra cost until we receive check in info the day of check in.

This house was as stated in the description. For our large family gathering it was spacious and open. Walkability to the metro was a big plus! The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were “tired.” Maybe some TLC from a maintenance crew would spiff it up again. Some paint touch up and carpet cleaning to be specific. There were no spare trash bags or paper towels. The main living areas weren’t as clean as the bathrooms. There was evidence of previous parties around. Host accommodated us with the request for a crockpot. We enjoyed our stay in DC.

Home was perfect for our family and the grandchildren. Great family space and everyone had their own bathroom. Large kitchen. Wonderful location. Two blocks from Metro.
