This was our second stay at the cottages, and would absolutely come back for a third time. They are always helpful with any questions and have given great suggestions for local spots to explore. The breakfast is one of my favorite parts. Fantastic good and conversation.

Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to stay with James. After booking, James requested an additional fee for pets and a credit card to hold on file outside of the Airbnb platform, neither of which were mentioned in the posting. We were unable to reconcile our differences in expectations, and mutually agreed to cancel the stay with a full refund. Given his respectful communication in an adverse situation, he's bound to be an excellent host

James and Leslie have a great place. It was very comfortable and peaceful. Great place to stay and very nice couple. Thank you guys!

What a neat place to stay! Loved all the personal touches, especially the community area where we're served a lovely breakfast every morning and treats by our hosts. We even took a fresh homemade pie home with us. Definitely coming back hopefully in the fall to take the Durango train up to Silverton. Thank you for having us.
