WOW! What a fun experience for us! I was looking for a quiet getaway with my kids and dogs for spring break, and this spot was perfect! It was so great to unplug and put our phones and tablets down and just be together. We can't wait to come back!

This is such a cool spot. I stayed here with my 2 sons and they absolutely loved it. Perfect place to just get away. Plenty to do in the area and if you forget anything there is a store right up the road that has all of the essentials. Tommy and his family were very welcoming and helpful and we just loved the experience. Highly recommend this spot

We are the Daspit Family! Kelly is a public school speech therapist and a writer/poet, and is a lifelong Alabama native. Tommy is a photographer who originated from New Orleans - hence the American twist on our French last name - D’Aspet de St. Ammant. We live with our children, Wilder and Pippa, of whom “Pipwild Spring” is named after. When we first encountered Folklore Forest on Lookout Mountain, we were struck by the natural, almost magical beauty of the land and river- like something out of a storybook, and we instantly knew we wanted to become its caretakers and also to share its beauty with the world.
