This place is pretty far removed from other towns and services but that makes it the perfect little escape to retreat in nature and be around lovely animals, plus your host Stephanie is a gem for anything you need. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need, just bring your own food. Bed is comfy, a hammock to chill in, wifi was great if you want to stay connected, etc. A great spot to write, reflect, get out of San Cristóbal and see life in other parts of Chiapas. Would definitely come back ❤️

We arrived a bit early because we were staying very close to the ranch. Stephanie was very easy with the early arrival, we could already check in. The house and the farm are really beautiful and quiet. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Stephanie learned us a lot about the horses during the morning we booked an experience with here and at the and we were riding the horses without the saddle. It was a great stay!

Nestled in nature's embrace, this place is truly magical and enchanting. It offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the surroundings. Stephanie, our host, was exceptional - always attentive to our needs, yet respecting our privacy. She not only recommended reliable taxis for us, but also guided us to the best local markets before our arrival. Our almost 4-year-old son was captivated by the natural beauty from the moment we arrived. He quickly befriended the dogs and horses on the ranch, making it feel like home. The neighbouring Chiapas community exudes warmth and hospitality, adding to the overall charm of the place. Chiapas itself stole our hearts with its breathtaking sunsets over the fields and mountains. It's a unique and rustic experience that left a lasting impression on us. We're already planning our return trip to this peaceful haven in nature.

Stephanie provided a unique and memorable one of a kind experience from start to finish. The cabin and its natural surroundings are just out of a storybook! Stephanie has a welcoming and warm personality that makes you feel right at home with her warm hospitality. We have never stayed at an Airbnb that was this special. We got to explore her land, play with her horses, friendly animals, catch a stellar sunset from the hilltop, hike several trails and enjoy the prairie for a picnic. This place is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful escape from busy everyday life. It is remote, tranquil and is a great home to just unwind in for a few days. Would be back in a heart beat :)

I can’t say enough about what a special experience this was. Steph is warm and wonderful and wise, the cabin is charming, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the atmosphere at the ranch is welcoming, the horses and dogs and other animals so well cared for, and my experience riding was just so exciting, educational and affirming. I’m an intermediate level rider; we did a lesson in the morning and a trail ride in the afternoon. It was incredible! Can’t wait to go back one day. Paradise.
