Julie’s place was so close to the heart of Geneva. My boyfriend and I were able to walk to downtown Geneva, enjoy the Fox River and walk the beautiful paths that Geneva has to offer. The place was easy to get into, clean linens, towels and a quiet neighborhood. I would come back and stay in the future.

Basically if you are going by yourself or want it to be very quiet then this is the place. Quiet hours were listed as 7:00am-10:00pm according to her rules on the website. We were enjoying and laughing and at 12:20 comes banging on the door. Accusing us of having a party and having guests after 10. There was no one else there and we were loud but not over the top. She was asking me where did the other guest go? And then telling me that I said I would be the only one. When I clearly registered 2 guests and in ALL communications I said WE. Clearly stating I wasn’t coming by myself. She sent several messages thru the app but I didn’t look, we were on vacation. I would have preferred her to just come talk to me and instead I opened the door and she started in. After that we felt like we couldn’t have fun. Between 3:30am- 7:00 am the owners who live upstairs walking around and dog barking one night. So every word spoke or movement can be heard. Nice place but not worth the hassle we got.

This was our second time staying at Julie’s place and it is now our go to spot when we visit Geneva. Absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfy for a nice little getaway weekend. Thanks Julie!

Julie's listing was perfect for a quick getaway and just as described. It is close by to a lot of local restaurants and shops and an easy walking distance from town. Julie was very responsive and provided clear instructions. She was also available to answer questions when needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway.
