Dani is a true super host who is always willing to help and make your stay unforgettable. The cozy apartment has everything for a longer stay and you will easily feel like home. The apartment is situated in a beautiful oasis of Golden Hill with a lot to offer. You can also take beautiful walk to South Park for a nice meal or North Park for nice shops and restaurants. It is 10 minutes driving to almost everything in San Diego. I have spent here 4 wonderful months working at a university and would definitely choose Dani again.

Perfect stay and a great host. I booked Dani's place for about 6 months while I was working in San Diego, she is awesome to deal with and super responsive to anything you might need or have questions about about the building/the area. The apartment itself is pretty roomy for a small space laid out, great kitchen, fridge, TV, desk, sofa bed pull out and balcony. The location is also great, tons of stuff in Golden Hill/south park including places to eat and grocery shop within a 3 block radius. You can also scooter into downtown very easily (about a mile away) and access the highway easily as well, Costco and Balboa park each a 5 minute drive away. Super clean, never any bugs (there are some around but they never make it up to the third floor), the provided parking is in a garage and super safe. I genuinely had no problems with the apartment or area the entire time I was here. One note is that the apartment is right under the landing flight path for SAN. This means that you'll hear a lot of airplanes and see them flying overhead but I didn't mind the noise or find it annoying ever, I think it'd only matter if you're an extremely light sleeper. (SAN also has a midnight curfew so you won't really hear it after then anyways). Also there is no A/C (like a lot of places in San Diego) but getting 2 fans from Costco was all I needed to stay cool. Anything you need to work out with Dani she is super easy and receptive and willing to help make you comfortable. Fantastic place to book, if I'm ever back in San Diego I know where I'm gonna stay.

Great location in the up-and-coming Golden Hill neighborhood. Easy driving and bus options to downtown, hassle free on-site parking. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within a few blocks. The space is small, but well laid out. The best part of this place is the host--Dani was responsive, flexible, and helped with any problems that came up. Couldn't have asked for a smoother experience. One note: like many homes in Socal, there is no in-unit AC, so be aware that it may be warm for the few hot weeks in the late summer. But for the vast majority of the year, you can expect temperate weather, and it's not a problem. I highly recommend her place for longer term stays in San Diego.
