Staff was friendly and they had a nightly security guard who was awesome and ensured only registered guests were allowed on the premises. The room was about what we expected based on what we paid. The only problems we had were that the room had not been cleaned when we checked in, but the staff cleaned it right away when we told them. Also, the room had no mini-fridge as the listing stated, which means we had no cold water all week and the WiFi was very spotty in our room.

My room was appropriate for me being a solo traveler. In the booking photos there was a microwave pictured, my unit did not have a microwave. Small inconvenience. Wifi was spotty in my room on the top 3rd floor, had to be in a certain corner of the unit to have full wifi service, again, small inconvenience.

My stay at the beach club was mixed with both good and bad; The Good: -Functioning AC - Pool (however should note that it does close at 8) -Security at night to ensure only guests are entering -Fridge -Located maybe 2 mins from the Ferry (left hand side) The Bad: -The image being used to promote the room was not the room we received; the view presented was not directly in front of our room. -The key to lock the door did not work; instead to lock the door the handle had to be manipulated - The curtains didn’t fully cover the door - We were located on the 3rd floor where the internet was very spotty. - No microwave as presented in the list of amenities -We found a used bar of soap in the bathroom and a tennis shoe in the room after check in so not sure how throughly rooms are cleaned

My friend and I were blown away at the hospitality we received. Super friendly enviroment, great view, and the restauruant next door with local food is extremely convenient! We would go back in a heartbeat and will recommend this airbnb to anyone we know who is traveling to Belize!
