Based in the Heart of the Purbeck's is the small, tranquil, rural hamlet of Acton which dates back to the Domesday book.
Sea views from all around and fields full of wildlife that you can freely walk in.
The cottage is minutes away by foot from the South West Coast Path/Jurassic Coast, Dancing Ledge, the dinosaur foot prints and The Square and Compass Pub in Worth Matravers and the Kings Head pub in Langton Matravers.
There is zero light pollution so you can enjoy gazing at the stars at one of the pubs and enjoy a pint, glass of wine, local beer or a meal.
Ten minutes in the car is the beautiful village of Corfe with the ruins of Corfe Castle.
Ten minutes the other direction is the beautiful Victorian seaside town of Swanage with plentiful cafes and pubs, beautiful beaches and quirky shops. Swanage has its own steam railway.
There are many beaches which are Blue Flag with Studland Beach , Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Chapmans Pool just moments away in the car or all walkable!

There is a shared parking space just outside the path to the cottage. If the space in unavailable, there are spaces at the top of the track, or my mothers front garden both situated two minutes walk away. (Next to her Honda Jazz)
Please see photos. However you can drop off your luggage outside of the property, then park. Bus stops at entrance to the village that run hourly, to Corfe, Swanage, Poole, Studland, and Bournemouth. Taxis also come from Swanage. Choice of two pubs walkable from Cottage as well as the South West Coast Paths and Fields on your doorstep. Sandbanks Ferry takes from Studland to Sandbanks in Poole, next to Bournemouth. I do bake a Victoria Sandwich or supply biscuits which contains eggs, flour and dairy. Please advise if you prefer not for me to bake a cake.
