The Threshing Barn is a former hotel, set within the grounds of Penrhos Court, that has being lovingly turned into 7 boutique self catering cottages, and a B&B. Enjoy home cooked food in an award winning rustic onsite cafe, The Cattle Shed. There's plenty of walking to be had right on the doorstep or we're just a short drive from quaint market towns such as Hay on Wye, Ludlow and the cathedral city of Hereford which offers a wealth of good eateries and boutique shops to while away the hours. 3 story characterful cottage with painted stone walls, far reaching countryside views and high ceiling with exposed oak beams and cosy mezzanine balcony bedroom nestled in the eves. Really beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. The on-site pub and cafe were fantastic; high quality food and very reasonably priced. Hosts were present and could't be more helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again.
Lovely place to stay, Mark and Laura were extremely welcoming. Their advice to walk locally and visit The Cider Mill restaurant was taken and hugely appreciated. Both were excellent. The on site pub, The Pythons Arms is great with a superb pint of ale on tap. I wish it was my local!
Great place & cottage was fabulous. Really enjoyed the Python Arms pub on-site. Everyone was super friendly.
We had a great weekend stay, it was lovely and quiet in the countryside but not too far away from places to visit, will definitely be visiting again

Penrhos Court is nestled amongst breathtakingly beautiful Herefordshire Countryside, just a stones throw away from the Welsh boarder. Surrounded by stunning countryside there's plenty of walking. Just a short drive away from Hay on Wye which is great for mooching around (and ice cream!) or sped the day at the cathedral city of Hereford which has a wealth of shops and quality eateries to explore.
