Margaret's place is beautiful. You can tell she has put careful thought into the design and creating a luxurious setting. The water views are amazing. As a host, Margaret is proactive, and she is very responsive to any questions. She cares about the people she is hosting, and it shows.

Our stay at Margaret’s penthouse over labor day weekend was amazing. The unit is super well stocked, it had everything we needed and then some! Have stayed at many places at SML and this was by far the most well stocked. Margaret was so easy to work with and provided all the info we needed to have a great time. The unit is beautifully renovated, looked like it was brand new, and had plenty of space for our party of 6 and to top it off the views are AMAZING!

If you are looking for an outstanding location, with a lakefront property, quiet and peaceful, with mountains, and while staying in an immaculate and extremely well-decorated condominium, then this is the place for you! We recently spent two nights in Margaret's rental, although we tried to stay for more - it was fully booked, and we can see why. Bernard's Landing and Smith Mountain Lake are exceptional locations and Margaret's condominium is nicely situated to enjoy both lake and mountain views. The view is first rate. But, what made the stay remarkable, is the care that Margaret has put into the location. We loved the art work - the careful attention to each detail in decorating was obvious. As soon as we entered the condo, my wife was ready to relocate from our micro-farm to Margaret's condo - which of course was not possible, but she definitely finally understood my preference for lake living in a mountainous area. Thank you, Margaret, for an exceptional and memorable stay!

Our stay at Margaret's Lifestyle and Lake Mountain Penthouse was absolutely wonderful...by far the best Airbnb we have stayed at! The condo is absolutely gorgeous and the location is excellent. So many things to rave about: the gourmet kitchen, the lake view from the deck and kitchen, the cozy family room area, the well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. So many amenities within walking distance: outdoor and indoor pools, gym, beach area at the lake and tons of green space to play your own outdoor games. Margaret went above and beyond to suggest local activities such as fishing charters, restaurants and activities for the whole family. Our fishing guide even picked us up right outside the condo at the private dock. Margaret responded to all of my messages immediately. It is obvious Margaret has high standards and her condo reflects her love of art and interior decorating. I highly recommend Napoli's by the Lake for dinner; the food was fantastic! Looking forward to returning!
