This was the first time using an AIRBNB and it was great!
The location was great and close to the beach. It was a nice touch to have breakfast and coffee for the morning. Nice quiet place. I was expecting a separate bedroom from the way the photos are on the listing but it is one big room with a futon and a twin bed on the loft. Overall, it's a good place for a couple or two friends.
Carma was great, communicating with us before and during our stay, always very available to answer questions. Breakfast foods including bagels, OJ and yogurt were provided. We were able to use the backyard grill to cook dinner (fresh fish). Carma took care of washing our dishes since the suite does not have a full kitchen. The location was perfect, closer to most of our fishing locations than the town and in a quiet neighborhood with great views of the bay and mountains in the distance. The suite had everything that we needed for four days in Kenai. I recommend this Airbnb, and would return.

Our neighborhood is filled with fantastic residents. We are an easy 10 min stroll to the beach. We are centrally located to all the activities offered on the Kenai Peninsula. Homer is a fun day trip along with Seward's sea life center. For closer enjoyment charter fishing out of deep creek or Ninilchik is a great way to stock up on halibut. Hiking opportunities abound as well as dipnetting in July which is available right down the street!
Taxi cabs and rental cars are easily available be sure to call ahead to check your dates July can be busy. We offer a bike and are hoping to acquire another for our guest use. The flats bistro is an easy 20 minute bike ride offering fine dining and soaring views.

I was born and raised on Kodiak Island, from the age of 13 I helped my mother operate her bed and breakfast. It has always been a dream of mine to have my own bed abd breakfast. After purchasing our dream home in Alaska's playground my dream became a reality! Our family of four has loved sharing our home with travelers from near and far. My family enjoys hiking, biking, fishing and camping. That is why Kenai is the perfect home for us. We enjoy living in our dream home, school, traveling out of state and our “day jobs” all winter: we cherish our summers when we are free to camp, explore our great state and and host guests making their Alaskan dreams come true all summer long! We invite you to share and see what we love about our home, our small eco farm and our community!
