The house was perfect minus the issue we had with the bathroom. Cleaning could’ve been a little better but I’ll definitely recommend this rental.

The house and location were beautiful! It was perfect for 3 couples and our pups, with more than enough space to cook, eat, lounge, and sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The property was absolutely gorgeous in the winter, and it was nice and private as well. The hot tub was great and well kept. There were also a bunch of sleds in the garage that were fun to use in the snow (the driveway is a perfect little hill for sledding!). We had a big snow storm while we were there, and they came out to plow each day. As others mentioned, you do need 4x4 to get up to this home in winter - don’t be fooled by the weather in the actual town of Fairplay, this home is much higher into the mountains! Overall the place was pretty clean. We did have some trouble getting in the house based off the instructions, but we called Vacasa and they were able to get us in fairly quickly. We had a great experience here and would definitely recommend staying at this home!

This home is absolutely beautiful inside and out! The views are breathtaking! We had three families and had plenty of room and beds for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit and hottub every night! Made our Christmas vacation just perfect! One note for others- this house is a few miles up the mountain which is exactly what we wanted but be sure to have 4x4 vehicle to drive in winter time.

I loved the cabin, really pretty covered in snow and with a nice backyard and front yard as well. My family went thanksgiving week and we loved it! we did get altitude sick for the first 2-3 days but after it was fine. The only downside is that fairplay town is really small and there’s nothing near by, but I was aware of that before booking, Cabin and neighborhood were dreamy though
