We had an absolutely perfect week staying here! The property and the house are magical, more than the pictures can convey. Each room has so much to admire -- I tried spreading out my time in all the rooms as much as I could as I didn't want to miss out on any of the details. Doreen, her family, and the staff were most accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the very special dinners that they prepared for us, especially the South African bobotie, the slow roasted lamb, and the pizza night in their outdoor pizza oven! The location was ideal. Plenty of restaurants (with a lot of variety) just a few minutes walk away. I definitely plan to come back on my next trip to Cape Town!

We had a wonderful week at House Awe. Doreen was very welcoming and Robert, Winnie, and the team couldn't have do more to help and make our stay enjoyable. The house is absolutely beautiful - even more so than the pictures indicate. It's perfectly located in a great area - a short walk into town, and a short uber ride (or longer walk) to Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Special thanks to Doreen's daughter Jade, who organised the most amazing 'food jam' on the final night. (If you don't know what that is just do it anyway!) A really special evening with lots of laughs and great food! Thanks again - we will be back!
