Stefano and Muriel are incredible hosts - one of the kindest people I've met on my way. They're super helpful, responsive and hospitable - they even invited us for breakfast together on Sunday :). They told us about local events happening during our visit so we could embrace local life. The place itself is magical - placed near the village but very private and so close to nature and Porciano castle. I'd recommend 10/10 to anybody who wants to calm down and enjoy the peaceful Tuscany

Stefan und Muriel sind sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Natur verbringen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Stefan lud uns zu einem gemeinsamen Frühstück mit französischen Croissants und selbst gebackenem Baguette ein. Fürs Wandern und die Städtetrips nach Florenz und Arezzo hatte Stefan passende Routen und Empfehlungen für uns.

Our stay at Stefan and Muriel's Airbnb in La Macia was extraordinary. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, the place offered relaxation and hiking delights. Yet, it was the hosts who truly stole the show. Stefan and Muriel were not just hosts; they were genuine, warm friends. Stefan's invigorating yoga class and special coffee, along with the aroma of freshly baked bread, made mornings delightful. Muriel's generosity knew no bounds; she shared fresh eggs and vegetables from their property, enhancing our meals. What made our stay truly special were the heartfelt conversations we had with our hosts. Their genuine interest and openness created a sense of camaraderie that made our stay unforgettable. If you seek more than just accommodation—a place where you can connect with wonderful people and create cherished memories—Stefan and Muriel's Airbnb is the perfect choice. We are immensely grateful for this experience and eagerly look forward to returning to this paradise.

Amazing place to escape to. Out in the beautiful hills but not too far if you want to pop into Stia. Lovely pool and outside kitchen. Places in town we’re great as well nice cocktail bars, restaurants and shops and not too touristy. All very friendly and reasonable. Hosts were lovely with lots of recommendations of hikes and where to go. We did a 8 mile hike form property which was great. Stefan’s baguettes and barista skills were top notch. His breakfast spread was a real treat. Especially the Sicilian coffee. Plan to come again. Would love to hire some e-bikes if to visit again so can explore even more.
