Seashell Cottage is a traditional flint cobble cottage right in the centre of Sheringham. It is situated in a peaceful loke with no passing traffic. The cottage sleeps 4 in three bedrooms so is perfect for a family with two children, no arguing over the beds! There are two bathrooms, a really spacious one upstairs with a roll top bath, and a shower room downstairs. There are stripped pine floorboards in several of the rooms, and quality curtains and soft furnishings. The sitting room and dining room are divided by the staircase and there is a gas fire at either end, so cosy all round. Seashell Cottage is really well equipped, even down to a Martini shaker. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two singles and the master having a superking sized bed. So if you want to be within the sound of the sea, Seashell Cottage might be the one for you. There is a traditional market twice a week. Sheringham is home to the Poppy Line, The North Norfolk Steam Railway, and this is the jewel in Sheringham’s crown. This attraction, run by volunteers is the focal point for many events over the year, including the famous 1940s weekend held in September. There is something going on in Sheringham all year round run by a dedicated Carnival Committee. Sheringham Carnival held in August is a real treat for all the family, with tradition at its core.
