The apartment is small and located in a convenient area, however it is on the back street of a nicer area, operative word being, back street. The place is advertised as non-smoking however the tenants in the building all smoke making it impossible to reach the third floor where this apartment is located without getting a touch of emphysema. Previous tenants also have smoked in the apartment so, the stench of smoke remains , especially on the small sofa and blankets that are in desperate need of being washed. The cleaning is superficial, making it impossible to cook unless you have low hygiene standards. The kitchen and the bathroom are very old. The safety of the front door (of the building) relies on the care of all tenants to be kept locked, that does not always happen. The host is very gracious and responsive, but this was simply not the place for me, as I need a smoke free and clean environment. The bed is on a mezzanine floor (literally mattress on the floor) under the roof.

I really enjoyd my stay. Maxime was fast, clear and pleasant with communication and everything was really easy. The location was perfect, could not be better and the apartment was exactly how it was described. Happy with my stay :)

This is a great place to stay in the heart of Brussels, with fantastic access to everything by foot. You can't find a better place to stay. Maxime is always responsive and available to help if needed. Highly recommend this place.

Maxime est très réactif communicatif et sympathique Des bières nous attendaient à notre arrivée, ça fait plaisir. l'appartement est idéalement situé , nous n' avons pas eu besoin de utiliser la voiture tout se visite a pied, bus , tram, métro. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, Nous recommandons cet appartement.
