We had a wonderful overnight stay at Amanda’s cottage .. everything worked and was as described or better ! We appreciated the attention to detail in everything from decor to access arrangements to Amanda’s kind and friendly messages .. a gem of a place.
Quaint little cottage that was perfect for our break. Lovely countryside views from the garden and everything we needed for a cosy night in.
Really lovely little cottage, perfect for all year round, for all lengths of stay only wish we had had more time! Well furnished, really well thought out with all the amenities and little bits and bobs. You can really tell Amanda cares about her guests. Beautiful place- be back soon!xx
A beautiful place for our nights stay. House was perfect and just what we wanted. Spotlessly clean and a lovely welcome basket on arrival was a perfect touch. Highly recommend x
A peaceful village, Snitterfield lies just 4 miles from Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Stratford-Upon-Avon. The Medieval towns of Warwick and Kenilworth, with their magnificent castles, are also, just few miles North.
The village benefits from a well stocked local store open 6:30am - 7:30pm Mon - Sat, 6:30am - 2:00pm Sun, and a great pub (The Snitterfield Arms) open 11:00am - 11:00pm Mon - Sat, 12:00 - 10:30pm Sunday.
The Farm, nearby, stocks artisan products by local producers and has a traditional farm shop and cafe. Definitely worth a visit.
On road parking is free however this is often busy, particulalrly in the evenings. Please take care not to block driveways opposite where you see the drop-down kerbs. The allocated parking space for your booking gives you peace of mind that an allocated parking space is always availabe. The drive is long nad you should be able to park two cars if needed.
Taxi numbers are provided in the information book, Stratford upon Avon should be £10-12, Warwick £15-£20. There is also an occasional bus service from Snitterfield to Stratford Upon Avon.
