The cottage has been recently refurbished with new carpets and a quirky yet comfortable decor. The porch entrance includes a bureau containing lots of tourist information for guests. You will also find a couple of umbrellas just in case you should need them. You enter the lounge with its comfortable two-seater sofa-bed and quaint rocking chair and a monks bench, a log-burner (wood provided), flagstone floor and smart TV. The kitchen-diner is very well equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, washer-dryer, fridge freezer; plus a handy picnic rucksack provided for you to take out and about when you explore the local area. The kitchen really does have everything you need and includes complimentary tea/coffee/sugar/milk, tea towels and basic condiments. The stairs lead to a large first floor landing area. Storage cupboards on the landing are private and therefore padlocked. A spacious main bedroom includes a double bed with a high quality Tempura mattress, two bedside tables, a wardrobe and drawers. The office has a large desk and a swivel chair. The desk contains a widescreen monitor and HDMI cable, a keyboard and a mouse. The bathroom contains a large walk-in shower, sink and comfort-height toilet. All bed linen, towels and basic toiletries are provided. The cottage garden is a beautiful and peaceful space with a ‘pub-style’ bench and additional folding chairs There is a beautiful outlook over the ancient orchard fields.
