We had a wonderful time. Cozy little cabin. We didn't utilize the opportunity to fish but did attempt to feed the fish at the fountain pond. Unfortunately it was a little cool, so maybe that is why we didn't see any fish. Comfortable beds, and very clean bathroom and kitchen. Loved the barbeque area, the yard is small but worked out perfect four little family get together. Communication was great, just wish we could have visited longer.

Secluded in its own corner, storybook was everything we wanted and more. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with anything you’d need to cook. John was a very thoughtful host and went above and beyond! I can’t tell you enough how great this place was!

The Storybook Cottage was great! We loved the warm bathroom floor! Really liked the reclining chairs with heat and massage! We were there to see the various winter birds! They didn’t disappoint! We ended up coming on a weekend that had a snow event of 3-4 inches, and temps in the teens! Fortunately, the cottage also had a snow shovel available! Thanks for a great weekend!

After our first stay we promised ourselves we would treat ourselves to another stay when our agenda would be just reading, crocheting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings with our two little pups. Mission accomplished!!! We loved the well appointed kitchen, warm bathroom floor, comfy beds and big TV. We plan to make this an annual event.
