5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - As we pulled into the TR Homestead the first thing I thought of was a little English cottage, complete with beautiful flowers in pots welcoming us and wild violets and fern growing along the boarder of the yard. Complete with a porch swing and rocking chairs it was very quaint. Inside the house had a cute cottage core vibe with a little mid-century modern mixed in. Comfortable beds and all the amenities you would need for a stay. The backyard was an absolute oasis and we spent most of our nights on the back deck having a glass of wine while sitting in front of the gas fire pit table. We also utilized the park pass everyday as we hiked in the mornings at all the close and assessable hiking spots near the TR Homestead. Travelers Rest Main Street was a short 3 minute drive and could easily be walked or biked if you desired. All in all it was perfectly situated to the many outdoor activities locally as well as a short drive into the City of Greenville .
We had a great stay at The Homestead. Very cute, quaint, older home just right for a group of six friends looking to eat a few good dinners after a few day-hikes in the area. Nathan was very responsive to messages asking questions and helpful when a nearby tree limb dropped cutting off power for a few hours. We had a lovely stay.
This was a perfect place to stay for a girls trip visit to Pretty Place Chapel! The host was super responsive and helpful with all questions and needs we had. The home was clean, spacious, modern and beautifully decorated! The location was close to all essential stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying at The Homestead!
This is a fantastic option for a small family or two wanting to explore TR or Greenville. The house is well stocked and immaculately clean. It is full of extra touches that will keep me and my family coming back for sure. Host is accommodating and full of great information. We had a wonderful stay.
This is one of my favorite ever rentals, and I travel frequently. My husband was able to work comfortably from the home, my dog was able to roam the property at her leisure thanks to the fully fenced in yard, I was able to work in the area happily knowing my family was safe and in a quiet neighborhood. The home was lovely and filled with luxuries. Hot tea, large tv’s, comfy bed, updated appliances, everything we could have possibly needed. The hardwoods have rugs so our senior pup was able to walk about the house without slipping (we typically bring our own for her stability). Linens, towels, soaps were all provided. The only thing I wish was different was the length of our stay so we could enjoy the space more. I’ve bookmarked the stay to return when we have more time!
