Reflecting back on our weekend getaway, we had a nice time. Paul the property manager was absolutely fantastic. They upgraded us for free to the lake house, which we were incredibly thankful for. The extra space was definitely a huge bonus. He checked us in, got us a bbq when we requested one as well as changed the propane right away when it was empty. He even let us use a tin paddle boat as well as a canoe that is a free for all. The cottage slept 7 very comfortably and provided enough space for all of us and 2 dogs without feeling uncomfortable during the very rainy days. It would have been nice to know that the kitchen was not a fully stocked kitchen. We didn’t even have an oven mit or proper cooking utensils. We bought some hand soap for the bathroom from a near by grocery store and thanks to the other views brought some of our own toilet paper. We found out when we got there that the tap water isn’t safe, so make sure to bring your own. We also suggest bringing your own camp chairs, as these are also a free for all and not in the best condition. The upper deck was lovely, but wouldn’t have wanted younger kids up there with no railing. They have a little gold mine up there if they were to add a bbq and a railing. The wire metal stairs leading up to the cottage were terrifying in the rain as well. All in all, if we were back in the Kingston area we would look at booking here again, just to come better prepared.

We went up with our family (4 kids, 4 adults and a dog) stayed in cabin 4! Was central to the park. Beach was right in front! Cottage was redone but had slanted floors which was minor. Beds were fine for sleeping! They are new owners so still doing work around the place but overall was a great area! My kids had a blast and the seasonal campers are great! My dog had a wonderful time also! He was just as pooped as us when we returned home! We are looking to return again end of July! Definitely would recommend for a family getaway. Be sure to pack your linen- Towels, sheets, pillow cases, dish clothes, bathroom hand towels. Pillows and comforters were on each bed. Salt and pepper were not in our cabin. We also brought garbage bags, paper towel, and toilet paper(only one roll when we got there)
