We planned to stay for 4 nights but extended the stay two more nights because we enjoyed it so much. We cooked every day in the common kitchen. It had everything we needed and everything functioned. The beach is about a minute walking distance. Great surf and cool coastline with tidal pools, birds, crabs and fish. The co-host Leah is who we mainly interacted with. She is great! Always friendly and willing to answer questions and help out. We’ll be back.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist gut ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz.

Blue Surf Sanctuary is in North Santa Teresa on the road towards Playa Hermosa, on one of only 3 beach access roads in town.
The hotel is just south of the main road and only 50 meters to the nicest part of the beach and surf in town.

出行信息

Fly - Taking a domestic flight from San Jose airport to Tambor is the easiest and quickest option to arrive in Santa Teresa. Flights run daily and are only 25 minutes. There are two airlines, Sansa & Nature Air, which is then only a 45-minute drive to Santa Teresa.
Car - From San Jose you can get a rental car from the airport and drive to Santa Teresa. The quickest way is Route 27 for about an hour and thirty minutes, which takes you to Puntarenas, take the ferry, 70 minutes, across the gulf to the town of Paquera. The ferry schedules are seasonal and you have to make sure to confirm the times prior to your drive. Once the ferry docks in Paquera, you simply follow the main road straight to Santa Teresa.
