Sarah’s Cottage is a great spot for anyone looking for a quiet retreat to Anglesey. A sort drive from all the amnesties and the surrounding beach’s. A peaceful property with plenty of board games and log burner to cozy up and close enough to take a stroll to the local windmill. Loved our stay and would recommend.

Cosy cottage in an ideal location on the island, in easy reach of everywhere. The cottage was well equipped, tastefully decorated and had all the required amenities. We loved it in this cottage. This was our first time going away with our furry friend and he loved it. The cottage was spotless and the log burner was what sold it for us. We already can’t wait to book our next stay Sarah was a lovely host and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Hi, I'm Sarah, Croeso! Our family has spent the past decade getting away from it all with our children and Cockapoo on the gorgeous Isle of Anglesey. Located in the small country hamlet of Llanddeusant, Cowbelle Cottage is a former converted cowshed from the late 1800s, now fully renovated into a beautiful, homely Welsh holiday cottage located a short leisurely 10-min stroll to the last working windmill in Wales, and popular tourist attraction, Melin Llynon. Famous for it's scrumptious Monuts sugary donuts, hand baked Siocled (chocolate) and gins, we highly recommended arriving early to avoid disappointment during peak periods and to check the website for seasonal opening times. We hope you enjoy Cowbelle Cottage and the Isle of Anglesey as much as we do and that it will become your own home-from-home bolt hole for many happy years to come whether you're holidaying with friends, family, children or canine companions. We're dog friendly for up to 3 well-behaved standard sized dogs. If you have any questions or are looking for local recommendations of things to do, places to visit and where to eat during your stay, please contact me. Join the National Cycle Network Route 566 from the Mill for a circular route passing the copper mines of Parys Mountain. Walk the Anglesey Coastal Path, Newborough Warren and Ynys Llanddwyn trails. Spend sunny days surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking and discovering rock pools from the many beautiful beaches and sheltered covers all around the island. Beaumaris is a favourite spot for crabbing, walking the pier, hopping aboard a boat tour and picking up a Red Boat Ice Cream! Spring and Autumn colours are in abundance at Plas Newydd National Trust House & Gardens for scenic dog walks along the picturesque Menai Straits. Children love the grand treehouse, woodland play area and seasonal activities. Shops are located just 2-3 miles away (Premier Siôp 10 mins by car; within 20 mins’ drive Aldi and Asda). Family and dog friendly pubs and restaurants include our local favourite (6 mins drive) Blas Mwy Black Lion Pub in Llanfaethlu (heated outdoor pods). We kindly ask that guests adhere to our house rules: *No loud music or parties. *No smoking or vaping in the Cottage or Courtyard areas. *Candles are not allowed. *Matches and lighters are only permitted for the log burner and BBQ areas. *EV charging from domestic sockets is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be charging your EV from a domestic socket, you will be asked to leave immediately. *Utilities (electricity, including heating, and water) are included but subject to a fair usage policy (domestic household use only). Excessive use of utilities will be charged at current rates. *No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of any utilities outside of owners control. *The property is being let solely for the purpose of a holiday.
