The property smelt badly of damp on arrival. There were dehumidifiers dotted everywhere with scented bottles to mask the smell - they didnt work as you could still smell the damp. The washing machine suddenly burst open water everywhere and the microwave kept cutting out. The cottage itself was a great location but the damp issues could not be resolved when I was there so we left our stay within two days.

It was an okay stay. It was a very wet and bleak weather wise so the cottage was quite damp. It smelt and felt quite damp staying there to. Perhaps summer would be nicer. It’s a lovely thatched cottage but there were some issues with parking from the neighbour. Also , our clothes smelt so damp once we returned home and made us realise quite how damp it was! Saying that it really was a sweet little cottage but think in much need of some tlc. I think the experience may have been different if it was summer time. Also, the bins were overflowing which wasn’t particularly nice. We did contact the agency and they replied quickly but they said they would send somebody round which they didn’t unfortunately. So we had to drag it out on the day it was due to be collected and picked up all the rushing which had been left around the dustbin. Sorry to sound so negative but if I write a review I will be honest! If it was my property then I would want to know all of this to help business 🙏

It’s was a great place just the thing for a couple to stay at or a small family. Very beautiful surroundings! There was a beautiful old church right next door and lots of walking places. There were clean dishes, towels, and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect for the getaway that was definitely needed. Thank you!!!
