What an enjoyable, peaceful visit! The cottage is sweet and had everything I needed. Loved feeding the horses apples and being in this quiet, tranquil place. Would definitely stay here again!

Carrie and Mark were wonderful hosts while we stayed in their cozy cottage in an idealic and beautiful part of Colorado. The home was beautifully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen and super comfy bed. The charming town of Paonia is a 5 min drive, and Black Canyon, Gunnison and White River National Parks and Forests are only about an hour away.

We had another terrific stay at Carrie and Mark's beautiful cottage! It is such a cozy and comfortable cottage with a wonderful kitchen, bedroom, bath, sitting room, and laundry room, all kept in pristine condition, with all of the amenities you could wish for (great bedding, towels, laundry detergent, firewood). We loved using the indoor stove in the cool evenings (even though the cottage has an excellent indoor heating system). The wonderful wrap-around porch with the table and chairs was a great place for enjoying the beauty, privacy, and peace of this location. My elderly mother and I enjoyed watching the beautiful horses against the backdrop of the mountains. My husband and I did a lot of star-gazing at night - you can see the Milky Way very clearly, and there were shooting stars! There is a great road that you can walk down for a terrific view of the mountains on all sides. We loved spending time with their dogs, Chiara and Hadley! We will be back! Thank you Carrie and Mark!

We just completed a five-night stay at Carrie's cottage and loved it. Everything is very clean, the kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is very well stocked, and the bedroom is very comfortable. Her property is in a lovely area near several farms, and it's very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed using the firepit one night under the stars. And there are 2 dogs and 3 horses close by to say hi to. We'd highly recommend it if you're visiting Paonia.

Amazing airbnb for a long weekend away to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and wineries! Carrie & Mark were super nice and we cannot wait to visit again!
