Annie and her family are lovely, and they have a gorgeous property! We really enjoyed our stay. One little note for anyone intending to rely on a microwave: there isn’t one. I hadn’t noticed that in the listing. No big deal for us; just had to rethink a few vacation breakfast plans. Mobile adults and teens can easily walk to channel or west end of Lakeshore Dr in 10 or so mins by quick shortcut through trail to the main road down. We had a lovely stay. Plenty of space, lots of sun and gorgeous views of the garden and over Penticton to the other mountains!

We loved our stay at Annie’s comfortable country Penticton home as a family of 4 with 2 young boys. We loved the big kitchen, comfy beds, and added bonuses like toys for the kids, yoga mat, trampoline, and an awesome collection of books. Annie is an incredibly kind , generous , and thoughtful host. We highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Annie's place is clean, spacious, and bright, with a charming view of the Okanagan Valley. We were greeted with a bouquet of wildflowers, a bottle of wine, and some chicken eggs. Wonderful! We particularly enjoyed the view of the valley and Annie's chicken coup. The chairs and bench in the backyard was a wonderful respite from the high temps we had, and a great place to read a book with your morning coffee. There is a dirt, single track trail right in front of the house that went through some natural areas and was perfect for a morning jog before it got hot. If you worry that living on the top floor of Annie's house may be too noisy or not provide enough privacy, don't. We hardly heard a peep from her family of three kids and a husband, and she was very respectful of our personal space. She was quick to bring us clean towels when we asked, and very responsive to any texts. Overall it was a great place for our seven day vacation and we wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Annie, her husband and three children are great hosts. He children and our grandchildren got along fabulously. Location has beautiful views and is close to town. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
