We arrived late night only to discover they had forgotten to turn the heat on. It was 20 degrees outside so the small wall heater took SEVERAL HOURS to catch up to the cold in the room. We were on a cross-country drive & stopped only to 'sleep' which didn't happen as a result of the cold (as well as the overwhelming smell of a 'rubber' wheelchair ramp INSIDE the room) After a long miserable night of uncomfortable FREEZING, NO SLEEP, & an unnecessarily (*at no fault of our own) delayed trip, they offered us breakfast at their cafe & 20% off a 2nd night (*which was now necessary for us to continue our drive SAFELY). What else could we do? *shockingly, they took our money for it w/out even flinching. Breakfast was decent but NOT worth what we went through or the other problems that arose as a result of our delay. We later learned it was an owner that rang up our breakfast. This added to our shock as she never once said she was SORRY for, or even RECOGNIZED the misery we had endured :-(

Was a lovely place for my short stay. Taryn was very responsive and I loved the beautiful view on the back patio.
