This was definitely a situation of misleading, creative photography. The pictures of the outside looked as if it was a well kept, somewhat secluded backyard and instead it was yard backed up to the highway from behind, not remotely set up as pictured, and easy few of neighbors cluttered backyard. The furniture looked like the host bought new furniture and moved the old stuff here. There were rips in the couch and the cushioning was broken down, the mattress and pillows were flat and worn down with the box spring making excessively loud with any movement, and the bedding was subpar and cheap at best. For a $75 cleaning fee there as cobwebs hanging from the light fixtures and in the corners of the shower area as well as quite a few dead bugs, clearly visible, inside the fixture glass. It seems that this is being pitched as a cabin which I would not consider it as such since it's in a neighborhood close to the downtown area. Overall this was grossly overpriced for what you get.

I loved everything about the house! It was super clean, easy check in, and spacious. It was very close to stores and I loved going to elephant rock! The checkout was super simple and the outside area was beautiful. The only slight negative thing was the host response time. When I first booked the home I messaged the host a question and after a month of no reply I messaged the phone number that was left and still no reply…although, once I arrived and asked about parking he did reply quickly. There was no contact after that. Overall would totally stay again it was very beautiful and nice!

Warning to senior citizens! This home is just fine for 2 people, as the master bedroom and ONLY bathroom is downstairs........But for any other guests, the stairs to the upper bedrooms were extremely dangerous! At least a 45 degree incline with steps so narrow, that half your foot hangs off the step! I had to get my physically challenged wife a twin mattress from upstairs and have her sleep on the living room floor. The back door lock was barely attached to the door jam, and would have been easy to break in (poor security). No dishwasher in house, and according to the rules, we had to wash our used dishes even though we paid a handsome cleaning fee!

Had plenty of room for our group of seven. As people have said, the stairs are quite steep so navigate with caution. The decor is super cute. Great weekend family getaway with hikes, food and fun!

It’s a pretty house- we loved the sunroom. It is an older home so some of the doors don’t close properly, like the master bedroom. This is fine if you’re a couple traveling but more than that could be tough. Some cozier touches would’ve been nice as well.
