Location was great, close to Bala, Port Carling & Gravenhurst. Entry to lake didn't have sandy beach, but was shallow. Bed was uncomfortable & missing the box spring. Very disappointed to find that the BBQ grill did NOT come with the propane, so we couldn't cook the meals that we had planned.

Host cancelled on us the day we were supposed to check in, as we were driving up to Muskoka leaving us stranded. Not the best communication considering I had messaged him the day before to confirm that we were coming. We had a wedding in Muskoka that weekend and had a rehearsal dinner to be at at 4pm the day of check in. Super stressful day, esp considering I am 8 months pregnant and securing a place to stay in Muskoka day of that accepts dogs is almost impossible. By the time the host cancelled on us we were already on our way up, plus it was too late to find alternate accommodations for the dog for that day. Maybe this was a one off cancellation however be warned if you book this place. Airbnb support was also very difficult to deal with so proceed with caution.

Our cottage was clean and great for us. The lake is wonderful and the location is great. Zan was very good to us. Thank you!

Lovely spot with beautiful views, close to Bala town which has everything you need.

Nice little cottage overlooking the moon river. We enjoyed our stay.
