We loved the place! It was exactly like described. Beautiful view and really peaceful. It is a bit remote on the island but worth the drive. Everything was perfect. Stéphanie and Jordan took the time to meet with us and they were excellent host. They had good recommendations and even left us local treats to try. Would book again.
We booked this place for peace and quiet and breathtaking views. We were not disappointed. Our host were superb and the place was immaculately presented with a high end finish as we expected. We were fortunate to see plenty of the local wildlife (deers, sea eagles and seals to name a few). We were also fortunate with the weather so we could make the most of sitting on the deck taking in the views with a glass wine. Total relaxation away from it all. We would happily book again.
The best Airbnb! Super cute with everything you could need and very comfy beds. Remote so a bit of a drive to activities in Skye but worth it for the beautiful surroundings. We even got to see the northern lights!
Zoals reeds gemeld alles was perfect georganiseerd, waren super snel op orde grepen nooit mis, alles was er, top. Wij hadden voor 5 dagen geboekt maar zijn een dag eerder vertrokken, het weer was zo absurd slecht, onophoudelijk regen, hagel, beetje sneeuw, koud en veel wind, gewoon pech gehad, hoort bij Schotland. Het lag dus zeker niet aan het huis, het huis had een adembenemend uitzicht over de zee en de kustlijn, konden er niet genoeg van krijgen, heerlijk met de openhaard aan, goed glas wijn, lekker boek kwamen wij de avond wel door. Overdag mooie trips gemaakt, kastelen bezocht, heerlijk overal geluncht, ons zeker niet verveeld ondanks het weer. Nog ter vermelden, kwartier van het huis is een piepklein dorpje, Stein aan zee met 6 huizen, daar vind je The Stein Inn, een doorleefde Inn met een restaurant waar super goed gekookt wordt, Lobster en Scallops zo vers uit de zee, heerlijk en heel betaalbaar. Ondanks het weer was het een unieke ervaring bij Stéphanie en Jordan.
Our stay at Beams was everything we’d hoped for, and more. A true sense of peace and serenity has been achieved here by a combination of Stephanie and Jordan’s tasteful and thoughtfully curated living space and the beauty of the natural world beyond ‘those’ windows! The ever changing views, magical sunrises, and proximity to nature delighted us all, exceeding our expectations. We could have stayed forever. Thank you to our hosts, to Waternish and to Skye for a wonderful stay.
