Tear yourself away from the unrivalled coastal views to enter the property through the convenient glazed porch-way and into the first of four reception rooms. The east facing combined entrance hall and morning room provides a splendid spot for morning coffee. Opening up onto the wrap around deck and beach beyond. Without a doubt an amazing location , uninterrupted sea views and the nature reserve at the rear. Lovely hosts , just a shame about the cleaning. An altogether relaxing weekend at the beach.
We had a nice long family weekend here. The location for the beach is perfect and being able to hear the waves crashing while you're lying in bed is dreamy. Some of the house feels a little muddled with various floor levels (not ideal for people with disabilities / mobility issues) and some of the toilet / sink areas in the bedrooms feel a little cramped. The stairs up from the car port are also a little precarious for those who struggle getting around and feel a little slippery, especially when it's been raining. The biggest issue we had during our stay was the fact the Arga didn't work. As in, we're here for Easter weekend (so nothing's open) and we can't really cook anything. One of the two hobs 'worked'. It took roughly 30-45 minutes to boil a pan of water (that had already been boiled in the kettle) and the only oven that really worked was about half the temperature it should have been. Hopefully this is remedied for any future stays. Kitchen also lacked other basic tools.
The house was really lovely and it is in a beautiful location. Very good to see and hear the sea from 2 bedrooms and the Ley from the other 2. Very good kitchen and equipment. Lovely rooms and decor and very warm and cosy. The only thing that wasn't so good was the cleaning - a few things not done in the house and lots of plastic bottles with water still in them left in the kitchen waste bin (not even in the recycling bin). The outside bins were overflowing when we arrived. Obviously difficult to get everything done to a high standard between bookings. We would certainly go again though
A fantastic place, well equipped in a great location with easy access to the beach. Lovely pub walkable from the house. On our stay there were 7 adults, 1 child and 3 dogs that were easily accommodated within the space.
