Lovely spot for a quiet weekend getaway with some friends/family - kitchen was equipped to feed a large group. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the evenings!

We feel very lucky that we could find Tall Cedars and Andrew’s place late into the summer. We had relatives visiting from India for a first time to Canada and cottage country and this was the perfect location and space. Cottage is spacious, and has all the essential comforts of home. Having a canoe and rowboat available was very good. The view of Payman’s Island all day long, in bright sun and with sunsets is gorgeous. Late summer with good weather and no bugs! Tall Cedars is easily reached from Ottawa, allowing us to tour the Rideau Canal locks nearby. This cottage is ideal for family gatherings, and we had a splendid one.

It was a wonderful, quiet peaceful place with lots of room. Great sunsets and fabulous lake for dock jumping and swimming. It was easy to paddleboard on the lake as well.

Andrew's place was great! We loved the location - absolutely gorgeous view down the lake, peak sunsets! The cottage is classic, clean, and functional. Lake is beautiful, and water was lovely to swim in - warm, not weedy. We loved being able to use the canoe and row boat. The water pump was a big hit with the kids. Thanks for an amazing stay Andrew!
