Although the cottage was clean and tidy, the heating was an issue as the electric heaters could only be used for a certain period of time! The cottage when we arrived was only 10 degrees and as we came after work this was far from ideal. The cottage also backed on to the pub smoking area and the noise from customers was loud until late at night. Then once the breakfast service kicked in at 8am the sound of bottles being decanted into the bin was far from ideal when we were hoping for a steady morning. The cottage was clean throughout and very tidy and ultimately right in the centre.

We had a lovely stay. The property is well kept and comes with all the things needed to make your stay comfortable. It is also located in a great place, close to all the amenities. There are a couple of things to consider when booking. The cottage is located next to the local pub, which means it can be a little noisy at times. If you have children staying in the spare room, bring a black out curtain for the window between the bathroom and the bedroom - we had to use the bathroom with the lights off after bedtime. Finally, the heating system is configured to set the temperature to 10 degrees every three hours. I understand the rationale for this, however the property becomes very cold overnight and during cold days - we found this quite a challenge with our 20 month old. Overall, we did have a lovely stay and I would consider staying again.

Good location in a small village. Not very happy with property as 1. There's no parking right in front of the property. You have to park in the next road. 2. The kitchen pans were not clean. They were greasy and it doesn't feel good to use. Dishwasher is also almost broken - doesn't clear great 3. Check in instructions is not clear on Airbnb site. It might be clear in cottages. com wesbite, but we booked via Airbnb
