We needed a place to stay last minute for Labor Day Weekend, and this fit the bill nicely. The room was very easy to get to, and Olivia’s instructions made it very easy to find the location. The area is very peaceful and safe. The AC unit worked GREAT and there wasn’t that musty smell that a lot of those individual units get. The room wasn’t even a bit sandy, which is nearly impossible at the beach, so major kudos! The bed was comfy too. We especially liked the proximity to restaurants (Diamond Shoals) and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. I would recommend staying here if you’ll be headed down to Hatteras for vacation.

Olivia's motel is in the perfect location! Very close to the beach and private because it's not on a main road.

Olivia & Hunter’s motel was absolutely perfect for a somewhat last-minute reservation in Buxton. The location was such a short distance from the beach and the room was simply cozy for my pup and I. I adored how accessible everything was to their place - the coffee shop, bakery, delicious food, etc. I can’t wait to see how it continues to grow!

Olivia’s location was great. Walkable to the beach and close to several restaurants. She was responsive and quick to help and I’d recommend staying here if you’re in Buxton.
