There is a sandy beach right in front of the property and you can walk or cycle for miles in each direction. The beach itself is surrounded by rocks, which protect it from the strongest currents, making it a good place for bathing in the relatively shallow water and for exploring rockpools at low tide. The lovely town of Carnoustie is minutes away with several local shops, pubs and cafes. There’s a train station on the main East Coast railway line between Aberdeen and Edinburgh making rail travel an easy option. You are also around 13 miles from Dundee and the road network is excellent road making exploring by car a breeze. The local area has lots of interesting attractions including the V & A museum, plus shopping and entertainment centres in Dundee, and of course several first class golf courses including Carnoustie and St Andrews, situated across the Tay estuary.
