We stayed here for a couple nights and had an amazing time. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Perfect homey feel with great water access/views. Would highly recommend!

William and his wife were amazing host. We enjoyed a stay and our visit. Their place has lots of character. Beautiful view of Smith Lake/ Sipsey!!

we were going for our anniversary, and it was definitely not private at all. I'm not sure if I misunderstood or if it wasn't clear on the posting, but the house was connected to another house. In order to use the sunroom which is the best part of the house, you would have to share it with other guest.( the daughter of the owner) she also had a doberman with her that clearly didn't like people. I was fearful she wouldn't be able to contain him. I stepped on a nail right outside the door on the deck, rusty sharp side coming up thru the floor. we showed them before we left hopefully it was fixed. The awful odor was hard to handle, but we became ammune by the 2nd day. we didn't sleep there the first night, couldn't get comfortable. since we paid for it we made ourselves stay the 2nd night. the water was clean at the end of the boat dock. dock was comfortable with tables. the shower is the size of camper shower. if you're looking for romantic,or private this is not your place.

Our stay here was phenomenal! Mr. Bill and Mrs. Pat were wonderful, attentive hosts! We had so much fun on this trip! Their property is beautifully landscaped, plenty of outdoor seating, and clean inside and out. Thank you both for a fabulous time in the beautiful Sipsey River!
